Thorneycroft Solicitors – a specialist brain injury law firm – is once again showing its support for carers by offering a free drop-in legal advice clinic as part of a major event on Thursday 11 June. Part of Carers Week (8-14 June 2015), the event takes place in The Great Hall, Manchester Town Hall, Albert Square, M60 2LA from 12 – 3.30pm. People are welcome to drop in for free, no obligation legal and practical advice to help them with their particular circumstances.

New data reveals that key targets set up to ensure suspected cancer patients are diagnosed within 14 days are still being missed. The government targets state that a patient should be seen within 14 days after a GP suspect that a patient has cancer and urgently refers them. Many hospitals are failing to meet these targets including Hospitals in Lincolnshire.

A man has been rushed to hospital following an accident involving multiple vehicles, one of which was a tractor and a trailer. Emergency services responded promptly to the calls to attend the crash scene at around 6 pm despite it being in a very rural area.
