Thorneycroft Solicitors sponsor MUFC legends match

Thorneycroft Solicitors are delighted to announce that we will be helping to raise vital funds for Joseph’s Goal charity sponsoring the annual Legends game held at Ashton Town FC on 25^th May kick off is at 3pm.

This year Wigan Legends take on Manchester United XI. Thorneycrofts are proud to sponsor the Manchester United XI team which is captained by none other than Bryan Robson the team line up will also feature Quinton Fortune, Ben Thornley, Nick Culkin, Chris Casper, Danny Webber and even his old teammate Peter Reid.

Wigan Athletic Legends side are unbeaten and have former captains Emmerson Boyce & Arjan De Zeeuw heading a strong side that also includes Pascal Chimbonda, Isidro Diaz, Paul Scharner, Graeme Jones, Nathan Ellington and even current Manager Paul Cook.

Joseph’s Goal was set up in October 2012 by Paul and Emma Kendrick, in order to raise funds for research into Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH), a condition that their son Joseph was born with.The charity, which is based in Wigan is run by a small group of friends and family of Paul and Emma Kendrick all of which are volunteers and are not paid.

We are proud to help this fantastic charity raise money for such an important cause.

So far the funds that Joseph’s Goal has raised have been sent to Dr Johan Van Hove at Colorado University, Denver, USA, and Professor Nick Greene at UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health in London.
