A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash involving two motorbikes.
The incident occurred at 3pm on a busy road when the two motorcycles, a Honda and a Kawasaki, collided. Emergency services were called to the scene where they found two men injured on the roadside.
Police closed the road whilst ambulance crews attended to the injured parties.
The Honda rider, believed to be in his 50s, was rushed to Hull Royal Infirmary where he received treatment for major trauma. His condition is described as critical.
The Kawasaki rider was more fortunate and received only minor injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses.
