A man has been taken to hospital with a suspected back injury after his car was involved in a four-car road traffic accident.
Emergency services were called during rush hour at approximately 5.55pm when fire crews, Police and paramedics were called to the site of a multi car accident. Police and fire crews secured the roads and assisted the causalities from their vehicles. Ambulance and paramedic staff assessed the injured and treated accordingly.
Many of the drivers and passengers involved in the road traffic accident were fortunate enough not be injured and escaped unhurt apart from a few bruises and being a bit shaken but a man was taken to hospital with “back pain”.
Paramedics confirmed that he was taken to hospital for further investigation but it was not thought to be serious.
