At Thorneycroft Solictors, the staff members have a long history of doing charity work and catastrophic injury causes are particularly close to their hearts. This year, two brave staff members, Lisa Hunt and Coral Dinsdale, are taking part in a charity skydive, “Take to the Skies”, to try and raise over £700 for the North West Air Ambulance charity.
The NWAA (North West Air Ambulance) provides an essential, life saving service to those unfortunate enough to be involved in a serious accident. Working in Catastrophic Injury department at Thorneycroft Solicitors, they have seen, first hand, how those involved in serious accidents have suffered life changing injuries but might not have survived at all were it not for the NWAA.
The charity is sustained purely through voluntary staff offering their time and effort for free and from public donations/fundraising through the local and business communities.
Both Lisa and Coral need to raise a minimum sponsorship of £350 each in order to “take to the sky” so please support them in their valiant effort to keep this essential service available to all those who need it.
PS This is a particularly courageous fundraising activity as it involves jumping out of a plane so please give generously to make up for their sacrifice!
