Macclesfield based Thorneycroft Solicitors has recently entered into working partnerships with a number of charities as a result of their association with Cheshire Connect.
Cheshire Connect is an organisation that links businesses with small charities that need pro bono support and to date Thorneycroft has agreed to assist two such organisations.
The first of these is Space4Autism, an East Cheshire autism support group. Thorneycroft has agreed to review all of the organisations HR policies, procedures and contracts as well as providing ongoing advice as required.
Arc, a Stockport based specialist arts and health charity harnesses the power of creativity to help people rebuild their self confidence and fulfil their potential as healthy and resilient citizens. Neil Wilson of Thorneycroft Solicitors is helping to provide assistance in securing a commercial lease on new premises.
Louise Cornes is Cheshire Connects ‘Business Connector’ and was instrumental in building the relationship with Thorneycroft Solicitors. She commented:
‘It is great that a long established company like Thorneycroft Solicitors, who put so much back into the area already, is prepared to help these two very worthwhile charities. We greatly appreciate the support they have given and hope that other local companies follow suit’.
