We’re delighted to announce that we have agreed to sponsor the Teacher of the Year Award at this year’s Local Hero Awards organised by Silk 106.9.

Now in their 15th year the awards celebrate the good work local people do for our community, and this year’s will be held at the fantastic Tytherington Club on Thursday 28^th November.

Teachers are the people who influence our lives forever. Perhaps the Teacher of the Year has helped beyond the classroom or their methods are so inspiring and groundbreaking. If you know of a teacher that deserves some recognition for going that extra mile, you can nominate them online now.
