Last week, a number of the team headed over to Redford Court in Liverpool to help the neurobehavioural rehabilitation centre redecorate. As part of our ongoing support to the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust and Disabilities Group, we felt this was a great opportunity for us to give something back.
Redford Court, which is run by the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust, plays a huge part in helping those in the North West who have suffered a serious brain injury with their rehabilitation programme and to regain their lives, which is why we were so keen to get involved. By rejuvenating the centre, it has become a welcoming and modern environment which will help put the people who use it as ease, knowing that pride has been taken in its appearance.
On the day, our crew of painters were joined by Andrew who is a patient at the centre who has made huge steps thanks to the hard work of the staff. In fact, Andrew has made such large steps, that he actually managed to help out with the painting on the day!
Regularly, we see how a serious injury such as a brain injury can impact both the individual involved and their family. Thankfully, with the help of centres like Redford Court, these people can get the specialist care they need in order to make the best recovery possible.
