Thorneycroft Solicitors help raise over £1,500 for The Wellspring

We were delighted to have raised over £1,500 for Stockport based charity The Wellspring as part of our ongoing support for the local community.

Alongside his wife Jane, Mark Belfield, who is a Director and the head of our large loss team here at Thorneycroft, organised a fantastic charity evening at Cheadle based Chinese restaurant Rainbow88 in order to help raise vital funds for The Wellspring.

We were proud to sponsor an excellent night of fundraising, which featured music from local boy and Thorneycroft employee Calum Hogan, a raffle and the night was capped off with an auction.

We’d like to thank everyone who attended and donated, especially all the local business that donated so many amazing prizes for the raffle.

For those of you who are not familiar with The Wellspring, they are a UK based charity that helps homeless and disadvantaged people.

They have supported over 1,500 people who lived on the streets to find accommodation and actively engage with people at risk of becoming homeless, helping to prevent it before it happens.
