Natasha Scragg bravely took to the skies at the weekend and jumped out of a plane as part of the East Cheshire Hospice Daredevil Programme!
Tash took to the skies at Tilstock Airfield in Shropshire on Saturday where she skydived out of a plane at 10,000 feet – all in aid of the fantastic work that East Cheshire Hospice carry out EVERY SINGLE day for our local community.
Tash said “It was an amazing day! After my briefing and learning how to turn my body into a banana arched shape for the free fall the most nerve wrecking part was reaching 10,000 ft, it was the longest 25 minute plane journey of my life but I can honestly say after the heart stopping 3…2…1 from the instructor it was the most amazing feeling free falling 5,000 ft and then the parachute opened giving me chance to take in the scenery (which once looked like a patch work quilt) it was by far the best experience of my life so far and I would do it again tomorrow.”
Tash has smashed her original target of £500 and has already raised £926 and hopes to reach £1,000. You can still help by donating to her JustGiving page or text NLSS50 plus either £2 £5 £10 to 70070. Come on, she deserves it – well done Tash!
