The current pandemic has put additional strain on educational resources, particularly when it comes to IT equipment and Thorneycroft Solicitors saw this as an opportunity to help by donating six laptops to two Macclesfield schools, which were selected at random following a number of nominations from staff at the firm.
Three laptops were donated to Park Royal Community School and three were also donated to All Hallows Catholic College.
Managing Director of Thorneycroft Solicitors, Rachel Stow, said:
“As a firm we have always been committed to helping our local community and we hope that with these donations the pupils at both Park Royal Community School and All Hallows Catholic College will benefit from the additional IT equipment in what is a difficult time for pupils and teachers alike.”
The recent donation further highlights the firm’s desire to give back to its local community.
“We are a community-focused firm and the people of Macclesfield have been extremely supportive of the business for over 3 decades and we hope we can continue to help those in need within our community as much as possible.” Rachel Stow added.
Thorneycroft Solicitors have also continued to support The Christie at Macclesfield ever since the project was announced, both with financial donations as well as the staff taking part in a range of fundraising activities.
The firm has also recently expanded by opening a second office in Macclesfield, a further sign of their commitment to the people of Macclesfield
The new office is located on King Edward Street and will be the new home of the Conveyancing, Wills & Probate and Employment Law teams, although clients will also still be able to access said services at the Head Office on Bridge Street.
