As part of the High Peak Radio Triple Challenge, our friend Paul Jenner from High Peak is running from Glossop Town Hall to Buxton Town Hall on Friday 4th April. This is a massive 16 miles challenge featuring country roads and of course the dreaded Chunal Hill.
He’ll be starting at 10am and there will be outside broadcasts on throughout the day to celebrate High Peak Radio’s 10th Birthday.
Tune in at 106.4 & 103.3, or listen to his progress via the High Peak website at www.highpeakradio.co.uk.
They are raising money for Blythe House Hospice, Ashgate Hospice and the British Heart Foundation. Paul’s challenge also includes running a Half Marathon faster than he ran the Paris Half a few years ago – this time he will be tackling the Tissington Trail in October; his trio of challenges being completed with reaching his target weight of 11st 11lbs – the weight he was when he was 21.
Good luck Paul! We’ll be there to welcome you in Buxton where High Peak Radio will be broadcasting live from the Thorneycroft office on Terrace Road!
