We are pleased to announce that we are now an official business supporter of Age UK Cheshire East.
We have joined with a number of members from the local business community in supporting Age UK Cheshire East with the aim of supporting the fantastic work that they do for people in our area as well as providing a regular financial donation to help them continue their efforts and maintain the services they offer to those in need.
Our Private Client team which is led by Heather Gaunt, a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) will also be hosting legal clinics for Age UK Cheshire East, to discuss all elements of estate planning including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts, to help ensure that the older generation in our area have the information they need to guarantee they have their affairs in order.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Age UK Cheshire East, they are the East Cheshire branch of their parent Age UK, which is a national charity which aims to improve the lives of those who are of an older age. Their vision is to ensure that the county is one where the older people within the community flourish.
They believe that poverty, isolation, loneliness, poor services and inadequate care and support are unacceptable for the elderly in our community and this is a cause that we fully as a firm fully support and believe in.
Age UK also provide information to people, notifying them of their rights and helping them to make the best choices that will benefit them later in life.
The charity also aims to raise as much money as possible to help fund their initiatives and services through a variety of fundraising events and activities
We’re proud to support such a fantastic charity and we look forward to building a relationship and working closely with Age UK Cheshire East in the future.
