Caroline qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and has been practicing family law for 25 years. Caroline undertook her training contract at a city centre firm. Having completed training in most legal fields including private client, litigation and company commercial she decided to specialise in family law.
Caroline has previously been a partner at two law firms before joining Thorneycrofts in Feb 2025 to take on the role as Head of Department. Caroline’s specialisms include complex farming cases and dealing with business and company disputes within divorce. Caroline also deals with children matters involving allegations of domestic abuse, child abuse and coercive and controlling behavior and frequently deals with fact finding hearings. Caroline also deals with cohabitation issues, pre and post nuptial agreements and injunction/self protection cases.
As a skilled negotiator and mediator Caroline will broker the best outcome for her clients whilst at the same time retaining a level of realism and honesty in her advice in order to manage client’s expectations in relation to the outcome for their cases.
In her spare time Caroline enjoys reading, fishing and socialising with friends.
