Welcome to our summer newsletter which I hope you will find useful and informative. We also wanted to take this opportunity to talk about some important and exciting changes in the Employment Team here at Thorneycroft. Firstly, I am delighted to tell you that my colleague and Associate Director Nicola Parker has now succeeded me as Head of the Employment Team. Many of you will already know Nicola who has worked alongside me for the best part of the last 5 years. Nicola’s promotion is richly deserved and part of our succession planning as I begin to take more of a back seat.
The new-look Thorneycroft Employment Shield is a well-established product, which we have now improved by broadening the services that the product offers, particularly with regards to the HR support services that our team can now provide.
In order to provide a fully comprehensive HR support service, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Clare Cross to the role of HR Adviser within the Employment Law team. Clare’s knowledge and expertise will ensure we can provide employers with the best possible solutions for their businesses as well as the highest levels of client care, catering to all their HR needs.
The all-new Thorneycroft Employment Shield is now split into three separate service levels, each offering a range of employment and HR services.
The ‘Essential’ package is perfect for start-up and small businesses requiring preparation of the essential employment contracts and a staff handbook.
The ‘Premium’ package enhances the ‘Essential’ package by providing up to 30 hours of legal advice and support per annum. This package also provides invaluable training seminars and workshops as well as offering access to a bespoke online HR management software.
The ‘Premium Plus’ package is designed to ensure that your business is fully compliant in all aspects of employment law and HR, including offering on-site HR support and unlimited advice, giving you peace of mind and allowing you to focus on running your business and achieving your business goals.
When it comes to protecting your business, compliance with employment law and HR are key aspects to ensuring it runs smoothly. Thorneycroft Employment Shield is designed to make sure you have this covered by offering a choice of services, providing personal, bespoke employment and HR advice and support.
