Applications have now closed for the 2017 Thorneycroft Solicitors Summer Work Experience Scheme.
We will be running a Work Experience Scheme in 2018 which will take place from 4th June 2018 to 20th August 2018.

The third annual Lawshare Conference was held at the prestigious Lowry Hotel in Manchester and this year’s theme was ‘making it work’ with a focus on making your law firm work for you and revealing how to maximise its potential.
Joining Rachel on the day were 9 fellow speakers, including headline speaker Matt Fleetwood, Chief Executive of Beyond and former Managing Partner at Fieldfisher.
Rachel appeared on the second panel of the afternoon and discussed how to make your Lawshare firm work for you, alongside 3 other panel members.

Lawshare is a referral scheme for lawyers which allows members to refer work to either the private or commercial team when they are unable to deal with an enquiry from a client, either as result of a conflict of interest or if it falls outside of the firm’s area of expertise.
The scheme is completely free to join and Lawshare has grown to become an influential network of over 180 law firms.
We were delighted to have raised over £1,500 for Stockport based charity The Wellspring as part of our ongoing support for the local community.
Pregnancy complications are something that affects a huge number of people across the UK on a daily basis, and when they’re close to home, they can have huge impacts on all of those close to the family.
For our associate director, Craig, the impact was enough to make him want to make a difference.
