Thorneycroft Solicitors are pleased to be supporting the Brain and Spinal Injury Centre (BASIC) Charity at their annual fundraising event – The Chequered Ball. Taking place on Saturday 12th October the event raises much needed funding for the centre in Salford.
BASIC provides counselling, information and support services for patients and their families following a brain or spinal injury. Affiliated with the Greater Manchester Neuroscience Centre at Hope Hospital, BASIC supports patients in a number of ways nationally, regionally and locally and has significantly raised awareness of conditions affecting the brain and led the way in raising funding for research projects and life-saving new technology.
Featuring entertainment by Diane Shaw , an auction kindly supported by Breitling UK, compere Paul Crone from ITV Granada as well as guest auctioneer Adam Partridge from BBC’s Flog It, the evening looks set to be a success and Thorneycroft Solicitors look forward to helping BASIC towards their fundraising goal.
