Thorneycroft Solicitors have sponsored the Spinal Injuries Association’s (SIA) first Women in Spinal Injury awards ceremony taking place on 6th June 2013 in Birmingham.
The awards celebrate exceptional women involved in the treatment and care of SCI people, across the UK and the outstanding contribution women make to the lives of spinal cord injured people.
We have sponsored the Sheffield category of the Outstanding Women 2013 which recognises outstanding health professionals that make a significant difference to the care, treatment or lives of SCI people.
Thorneycroft Solicitors’ Rachel Stow will present the award alongside Martin McClelland (retired consultant from the centre) to a professional from the Princess Royal Spinal Injuries Centre in Sheffield, NHS Spinal Injury Centres across the UK. These professionals will include: nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and any other professional women.
Thorneycroft Solicitors work closely with the SIA, alongside many other charities involved in the care and support of victims following catastrophic injuries.
