A Cheshire Solicitor who specialises in representing clients who have suffered serious brain injuries is backing this year’s ‘Brain Injury Week’.
Thorneycrofts Solicitors, who are based in Macclesfield, have confirmed their support for the week and say that their commitment to helping brain injury victims is still one of their top priorities.
“Brain injuries are a common injury that can have devastating effects for victims,’ said company Director, Rachel Stow.
“We urge anyone that has been the victim of an injury to the head to seek medical advice and call us to see how our specialist brain injury team can help.”
The week, which is organised by brain injury charity ‘Headway – The Brain Injury Association’ takes place between 14th – 20th March 2012 and not only aims to raise awareness of the charity, but also helps to highlight what support options are available to those caring for victims.
It is estimated that 135,000 people are admitted to hospital each year due to brain injuries and it is believed that 500,000 UK residents are living with long term disabilities as a result of serious brain injuries.
Anyone who has recently suffered a brain injury can contact Thorneycroft Solicitors for special advice on 0800 1979 345.
