There are so many worthy causes out there to raise money for, but there is a recent story that is very close to home and close to our hearts. Every parent wants only for their children to be happy and healthy and sadly for one local couple, their world has been torn apart after their baby girl Cherry May Cookson, was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Neuroblastoma.
Cherry May has just begun a gruelling regime of chemotherapy and her parents, are at her side at all times.
In order to help raise funds to support them Thorneycroft solicitors is holding a ‘Bring in £1 to work for Cherry May’ Day when staff can donate a £1 or whatever they choose and the company will match any funds raised to help support the family through such a traumatic time.
The day has been set for Monday 31st October and by contributing to this worthy cause we will hopefully reduce the families anguish and we wish their little baby girl a speedy and full recovery.
