It’s officially been a year since the COVID-19 pandemic began and it’s safe to say our team have been fantastic. It has been one of the toughest years on record for many people across the world, with extraordinary challenges being faced by businesses, families, friends and the wider community each day.
During the course of the last 12 months both the team here at Thorneycroft Solicitors and the communities in which our offices are located have really pulled together and shown true community spirit.
We extremely proud to be a part of the community in Macclesfield, Holmes Chapel, Buxton, Whaley Bridge and the surrounding areas and we have been inspired by the kindness we as a firm have been shown.
Needless to say, this year has been difficult, however, the team here at Thorneycroft Solicitors have been excellent, ensuring each of our clients has their legal needs met in addition to creating innovative ways to ensure all safety measures are followed, without compromising on the level of service our clients receive.
To help show our team and our communities support the firm has engaged in several activities and initiatives over the course of the last year.
In May, everyone at Thorneycroft Solicitors took part in Motivational May, where our team set challenges for themselves, including baking (we saw plenty of the infamous lockdown banana bread), knitting a scarf, doing 50 press-ups, running 50 miles, or correctly identifying 3 different gins in a blind tasting, no challenge was too big or too small and it was fantastic to see what everyone got up to.
We also hosted a series of zoom seminars including An Evening of BSB Banter with Christian Iddon and Bradley Wilson, which gave us the opportunity to catch up with friends from the communities we are a part of, that we were unable to see in person at live events that were cancelled due to the pandemic.
The Directors also kept spirits high by sending each member of staff a little lockdown care package to make us smile and the firm also partnered with local businesses including organic juice company Wild Juice Co, to help ensure our body and minds stay as healthy as possible during lockdown.
Whatever the next year has in store we want to say thank you to everyone who has supported us during this difficult time and reassure all our clients both old and new that we remain committed to ensuring you receive the highest levels of client care.
