A motorbike rider is in hospital in a serious condition after a collision with a car.
The incident happened in Derby on 20th November 2012 at around 8am.
The 39-year-old rider, who is from Derby, was riding her Honda motorcycle when she was involved in a collision with a Toyota Corolla at the junction of Albany Road and Uttoxeter New Road.
It is not thought that the driver of the car was injured in the incident.
Police closed the road while they carried out investigations in to the cause of the accident and are now appealing for anyone with information to help them understand how the accident happened.
Some commuters reported queues as far back as the A38 at Findern.
