A man from Windsor, USA is recovering in hospital after a serious motorbike accident on Route 17 in Windsor.
The 34-year-old was last described as being in stable condition in ‘Central Maine Medical Center’ according to the local Sheriff on Monday.
Medial staff from the hospital have refused to reveal any more updates since the announcement by request of the rider’s family.
The rider was taken by helicopter to the medical centre on Monday morning with what were described as life-threatening injuries.
The American rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and was riding alone.
It is believed that he lost control of his motorcycle while he was travelling along Route 32, throwing him on the to the pavement at the junction with Route 17.
Police are currently conducting further investigations in to the cause of the accident.
