A 77-year-old man from Salisbury is in hospital after suffering head injuries in a car accident this week.
The accident happened on the A36 between Wilton and Sailsbury.
The driver was travelling in a Chevrolet Crossfire towards Wilton in the early hours of the morning when he was involved in a head on collision with VW Polo which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The pensioner was taken to Salisbury District Hospital before being transferred to the Neurological department at Southampton General while the 23-year-old driver of the polo was taken to hospital with a suspected broken foot.
A car accident compensation specialist from Thorneycroft Solicitors said, “The cause of the accident has not yet been confirmed, but if a Police-led investigation finds it was someone’s fault then there could be grounds for the other driver to make a compensation claim.
“Its not uncommon that crashes like this happen but we would also like to wish both the accident victims a fast recovery.”
