A motorcyclist from Stockton-on-Tees is in a serious condition after a life-threatening road accident.
The experienced rider is currently fighting for his life in a local hospital. It is understood that he was seriously injured after an accident on a North Yorkshire road.
The rider was on a Triumph Tiger motorbike when he was involved in the collision with a Toyota Rav 4 near Skipton.
The 64-year-old was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries and a policeman confirmed today that he is still in a serious condition, 24hrs after the accident.
The rider was one of 10 people riding in the group from the Cleveland Advanced Motorcyclists group.
Officers are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the accident to contact with them with any information.
Witnesses have been asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for Pete Stringer or Skipton police.
