Motorbike found on roundabout believed to be involved in accident

A blue Yamaha motorbike which was found on a roundabout in East Lothian may have been involved in an accident according to local Police. 

The blue yamaha was discovered on the road at Thistly Cross roundabout near Dunbar at around 1.20pm on Sunday.

Witnesses reported that they saw two men walking away from the bike and getting in to a white van. 

Lothian and Borders Police believe the bike may have been in an accident and are now appealing for witnesses to come forward to help them understand what happened. 

A spokesperson for the Police said, “We are working to establish exactly how the bike came to be abandoned on the road on Sunday afternoon, and would appeal for anyone with any information regarding this to get in touch.

“The people involved in the accident have never reported it, and we are keen to identify the rider to ensure they were not injured as a result.
