A man had to be cut from his vehicle after a car accident at a busy junction in Gloucester this week.
A silver Vauxhall Vectra collided with a Fiat Doblo, a panel van, at 6:45am on October 8th 2012.
The driver of the Vectra was left trapped inside his car after the accident.
A fire engine from the Gloucester North fire station and one from Gloucester South fire station were called to the scene of the crash. In total 11 firefighters worked to get the man out of the car safely.
Police confirmed later that his injuries were not life-threatening.
The road was closed by the force for more than two hours while the work was carried out by emergency crews.
