A man has been seriously injured after a collision involving a recycling truck and a motorbike in North Wales.
The collision happened just after 7:30am forcing a short stretch of the A547 between Llanddulas and Abergele to be closed for two hours.
North Wales Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene where they found that a motorbike had collided with a Conwy Council recycling lorry.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said, “We were called to this road traffic collision at 7.34am.A male motor-cyclist in his 40s was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Bodelwyddan with serious arm and leg injuries”
A police spokesperson also added, “The motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries which are not life threatening but may be life-changing.”
The Force closed the road for more than an hour as they investigated the cause of the accident.
Traffic was diverted back to the A55 until the road was re-opened a few hours later.
