Police in Cheshire are to run an investigation into why a teenage boy was involved in a motorbike accident with a police car.
The accident happened on Booth Lane, Middlewich on 5th February 23rd 2012.
The Police have confirmed that the marked police car was responding to an emergency call at the time of the accident which left the motorbike rider in a critical condition.
A spokesman for the force said: “The 18-year-old’s blue Yamaha motorcycle was travelling in the direction of Sandbach when it collided with a liveried police vehicle which was travelling in the opposite direction.”
Police would now like anyone with information to come forward to help them investigate the cause of the accident.
