Emergency services, including two fire crews and a rapid response unit, were called to the site of a two-car crash whereby one of the vehicles had flipped over on to its roof at around 5pm.
The two cars involved in the accident were a Vauxhall Corsa and Skoda Octavia and it was the Vauxhall which was overturned on the road. Fire crews ensured the accident site was safe and checked that the vehicles were not dangerous whilst paramedics tended to the drivers.

A Fire Station manager said: “When we arrived there was nobody trapped and nobody was seriously injured.
“We made the road and vehicles safe while the paramedics checked the casualties over.”
