We will then deal with any changes that are needed and provide you with any additional documentation that is necessary, tailored to the needs of your business.

    • Level Two

      Level Two provides you with the benefits of Level One and gives you access to unlimited telephone advice on any UK* employment issue from our team (9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays). You will be allocated an individual advisor.

    • Level Three

      Level Three provides you with the benefits available at Level One and Two and (subject to acceptance by the insurer) access to a commercial insurance policy, covering the legal costs of employment tribunal proceedings as well as settlements and awards, minimising your commercial risk in giving you peace of mind. We are fully authorised by a major insurer to manage your claim

Congratulations to Dave Mould on completing the Coast to Coast this weekend

Huge congratulations to Dave Mould who completed the Coast to Coast West Cumbria to North Yorkshire this weekend. Completed in an extremely impressive 10 hours and 51 minutes, and taking on both Hardknott and Wrynose Passes, the route covered a cool 150 miles. Not one for the faint-hearted!

Dave took on the one day sportive challenge in aid of the Spinal Injuries Association – an organisation that we work closely with at Thorneycroft Solicitors, and a really worthwhile cause.

Mid-Staffordshire NHS Trust to be Dissolved

31st July 2013

Following the public enquiry into failings at the Staffordshire NHS Trust, administrators have recommended that the trust be dissolved. The Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust went into administration on 16 April after a report concluded it was not “clinically or financially sustainable”.

The Trust Special Administrators (TSA) have also proposed that critical care, maternity and paediatric services also be cut. The trust’s two hospitals would come under two other trusts -Stafford Hospital part of the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in Stoke-on-Trent and Cannock Hospital part of the Royal Wolverhampton Trust.

£10,000 awarded in dental negligence compensation case

A man has been awarded £10,000 in compensation from a hospital as the result of a claim for negligent dental work when he was a child.

The man sued University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust after they took 11 of his healthy teeth when he was eight without seeking parental permission.

Multi-million pound accident compensation for catastrophic crash injuries

8th July 2013

A father who was left in a wheelchair needing round the clock care for the rest of his life following a serious road accident has been awarded a multi-million pound compensation payout.

The victim was left with catastrophic brain and body injuries following the crash in Pembrokeshire in 2009 when a cattle trailer, being toward by a Land Rover, collided with his car.
