Thorneycroft Solicitors are sponsoring the sparkling reception at this year’s East Cheshire Hospice Silver Starlite Ball which will be held on Friday 20th September 2013 at The Mere, Knutsford.
After a sparkling drinks reception, guests and special guests will be seated for a three course dinner and petits fours, followed by a fund raising raffle, auctions and music from the Screaming Beavers until carriages at 2pm.
The countdown continues towards the third Macclesfield & Wilmslow Business Awards and on Thursday 16th May Thorneycroft Solicitors hosted a promotional event at The Yard in Alderley Edge. Adrian Bennett from Thorneycroft Solicitors welcomed guests including event sponsors and winners from previous years.
Thorneycroft Solicitors have sponsored the Spinal Injuries Association’s (SIA) first Women in Spinal Injury awards ceremony taking place on 6th June 2013 in Birmingham.
The awards celebrate exceptional women involved in the treatment and care of SCI people, across the UK and the outstanding contribution women make to the lives of spinal cord injured people.
Don’t forget this week is East Cheshire Hospice Will Week where we are offering our time free of charge to write standard Wills, and anyone having their Will written this week will be able to make a donation instead to the hospice.

Macclesfield Chamber of Commerce last night held a very successful event at Blue Bell BMW in Wilmslow. One of the speakers was our very own Adrian Bennett who talked not only about the servcies that Thorneycroft Solicitors can provide to local companies / employers but also about The Macclesfield and Wilmslow Business Awards. One of the latest hospitals in the news is Burton Queen’s Hospital, who reportedly failed to report dozens of doctors to the General Medical Council (GMC), it has been revealed.
At Burton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 33 consultants have had at least two allegations of negligence made against them in five years from January 2008 – with one facing 13 claims against them, one 12 and a third ten.
