Thorneycroft Solicitors take part in Macmillan's Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning

As well as being hard at work this morning, staff at Thorneycroft Solicitors are also taking part in Macmillan’s Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning.

Its the biggest fund-raising event on the calendar for the cancer support charity, and last year its estimated that 51,000 people were involved across the country, raising a total of £10million.

We’ll hopefully be sharing some photos of our involvement in the near future so keep an eye out for those!

21st birthday celebrations

Macclesfield – based Thorneycroft Solicitors celebrated their 21st birthday on Friday night with a glamorous ball for all of their staff members. Over 140 people attended the event at the Shrigley Hall Golf and Country Club in Pott Shrigley.

Entertained by the band ‘The Look’, staff partied the night away until 2am. Founded in 1991, Thorneycroft Solicitors has developed into a highly successful and well respected local firm offering a comprehensive range of legal services including conveyancing, wills and probate, family law, employment law and all aspects of personal injury.

Teenage pedestrian injured in incident with car

26th September 2012

A teenage pedestrian from London was taken to hospital with a serious head injuries after she was hit by a 70-year-old driver.

The crash happened in Gatton Park Road in Redhill on the junction with Monson Road. 

The 13-year-old girl was taken by ambulance to the Royal London Hospital at Whitechapel.

Man injured in motorbike accident with BMW car

26th September 2012

A 36-year-old motorbike rider has suffered multiple fractures and a head injury following a collision with a car. 

His black Yamaha motorbike collided with a blue BMW on the Sleaford bypass between Holdingham and the A153 roundabout.

The rider was airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham following the smash.

Corrie star Michelle Collins involved in car accident

Coronation Street star Michelle Collins has been left shaken when she crashed into a parked car at the end of a long drive. 

The actress was involved in the smash at the end of her regular 200 mile commute from London to Manchester, and admitted she was exhausted at the time.
