Bus Driver Could be Disciplined After Cyclist Captures Near Miss on Camera

A bus driver from Leicestershire could be disciplined after a cycling accident he almost caused was caught on camera.

The 21-year-old cyclists who does not want to be named, was wearing a headcam when the bus nearly forced him off the road.

In a statement to local press the student said, “I was heading back home along Belvoir Street at lunchtime and the road was narrow and had speed humps.

An 82-year-old pensioner is planning to sue National Rail after she fell shoulder deep between a train and platform on the grounds that the gap was ‘dangerous.’

The woman was attempting to board the train in wintery conditions in January last year when she fell shoulder deep down the gap.

Horse Rider Wins Six Year Compensation Battle

A horse rider has won a six year battle for compensation following a brain injury she sustained when she was thrown from her horse in an accident with a motorbike.

It is believed that the woman could win up to £500,000 for the accident which changed her personality, put a severe strain on her personal life and caused her and her husband to eventually go bankrupt.

The 43-year-old, who wished to remain unnamed, was riding when a loud motorbike exhaust spooked her pony and then collided into its back legs, causing her to fall and land headfirst on the floor.

Woman Rescued From Blazing Vehicle after Serious Car Accident

A woman from Scotland is lucky to be alive after firefighters rescued her from her blazing vehicle after a car accident.

Crews had to work quickly to extinguish the fire in the engine of the car, before using specialist equipment to cut her out of the vehicle safely.

Dry Cleaners Fined by HSE for Putting Workers Lives in Danger

A dry cleaning specialist based in Bedfordshire has been fined by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for putting their workers lives in danger.

Bedford Magistrates Court heard how members of the HSE inspection team conducted an investigation after an alert from Bedford Council’s Environmental Health officers.
